Job summary

Essel in California is seeking an experienced Carpenter with a strong background in high-end residential construction. The role involves both rough framing and finish carpentry on custom homes and detailed projects.

The right candidate will be confident installing windows and doors, framing openings properly (including king/jack studs), and executing high-quality finish installations such as casing, trim, and cabinetry.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-end residential carpentry experience.
• 3-5+ years finish carpentry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of window and door framing and installation.
• Experience installing: casing, baseboard, crown molding, paneling, doors and windows, siding, cabinets.
• Stair installation experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Must supply a full complement of carpentry tools, including specialty tools.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.

Requirements

Benefits

Salary: $40-$50/hour DOE
