Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires FBI Fingerprint Classification School or coursework in fingerprint identification, criminalistics and evidence technology.
• Two years experience in fingerprint identification, one year in AZAFIS operations.
• Associate Degree substituting for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises fingerprint function and personnel, including training, scheduling, evaluating performance, and implementing actions.
• Directs use of AZAFIS equipment to ensure 24/7 service for classification and identification.
• Coordinates training for criminal and non-criminal agencies on fingerprint techniques.
