Job summary

Wise Platform is seeking a Senior Manager to lead FinCrime product compliance for North America, focusing on the US and Canada markets. You will shape scalable controls for new Platform products in collaboration with the Platform Product team and 2LOD.

You will partner with engineering and regulators to translate complex regulations into practical requirements, monitor emerging typologies, and help unlock growth through compliant licensing and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in financial crime compliance, with a focus on correspondent banking and BaAS programs.
• Experience collaborating with external partners and internal product/engineering teams to develop Platform Partner solutions.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex regulatory frameworks and explain them to stakeholders.
• Problem-solver who uses regulations and data to drive business decisions.
• Experience working across cross-border payments, with US and Canada markets experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for regulators/auditors.
• Willing to travel to Wise offices across countries.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to define controls and interpret regulation to ensure all new Wise Platform products globally have the right financial crime controls.
• Keep an eye on emerging typologies and regulatory requirements for the US and Canada and implement changes as necessary.
• Understand Wise FinCrime controls and work with the Platform team and Global FinCrime product teams to make changes.
• Communicate with our partners about our compliance program and expectations, and incorporate feedback into internal processes as required.
• Identify challenges to regulatory permissions and unlock growth through new licenses as required.
