Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Systems to lead the functional support, administration, governance, and optimization of enterprise-wide finance applications including Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM, PowerPlan, Kyriba, and Cadency.

The role partners with Accounting, Tax and IT to ensure financial systems enable critical business processes, drive continuous improvement, and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, CS, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, financial systems or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing professional employees and large teams.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise financial systems and related technologies.
• Experience supporting critical financial applications and financial processing cycles.
• Understanding of internal controls, financial systems governance, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior leadership.
• Ability to manage vendors, consultants, and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional support and administration of enterprise-wide Finance applications.
• Set priorities and provide leadership to Financial Systems managers, analysts, contractors, and support resources.
• Ensure financial applications support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting cycles.
• Oversee resolution/escalation of production issues with Finance, IT, vendors and service providers.
• Establish governance over functional configuration and changes across enterprise Finance applications.
