Job summary

JetBlue is seeking a Senior Analyst Financial Systems to advance automation of Finance processes, build scalable data and reporting solutions, and support both recurring and ad hoc needs across Accounting and Finance.

The role emphasizes hands-on development with Python, SQL, and BI tools, and collaboration with Accounting, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering to improve data access and reduce manual work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Three years of experience in financial systems, data analytics, BI, process automation, or related technical/business systems role.
• Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or Finance transformation initiatives.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and translating business requirements into system or process solutions.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated Finance processes and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, and other technologies.
• Identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient Finance processes and design scalable solutions.
• Develop Python-based automation to transform, validate, reconcile, and process financial data.
• Write, optimize SQL queries supporting recurring reporting, data analysis, reconciliations, and Finance processes.
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and other reporting solutions for Finance stakeholders.
• Build and support data pipelines and recurring reporting using data from multiple systems.
• Support automation and enhancement of reporting processes using RAPID and other data sources.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance to understand requirements and automate improvements.
• Translate Finance requirements into functional/technical specs and work with IT/Data Engineering.
