Job summary

Mayvin seeks several experienced Sr Financial Systems Analyst to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division. These professionals provide financial management and analytical support to Navy programs, helping leaders make informed decisions and maintain effective stewardship of program resources. Must be a U.S.

Citizen. Must have an active Secret clearance. This position is contingent upon award.

Qualifications

Master's degree required (Accounting/Finance/Economics or MBA).
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in financial analysis or related field.

Responsibilities

Provide financial management support to branches, offices, and program teams.
Advise stakeholders on budget planning, preparation, execution, and reporting.
Review budget estimates and funding requests for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
Analyze budgets, costs, variances, and program performance to identify issues and trends.
Assess budgetary effects of programs, policies, and proposed actions.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses, evaluate program tradeoffs, and identify alternative funding approaches.
Coordinate financial activities and funding information across stakeholders and funding sources.
Prepare financial reports, executive summaries, and recommendations for leadership.
Develop courses of action to address financial issues and support program objectives.
Apply financial management policies, regulations, and organizational goals to analyses and recommendations.
