Job summary

Ameren Services (B&CS) in the United States seeks a Senior Financial Specialist responsible for preparing, reviewing and analyzing transactions impacting Ameren subsidiary financial statements. You will prepare external regulatory filings with the SEC, FERC and state commissions, and produce internal financial reports.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA, and have 3+ years of accounting experience with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification required; Master's degree preferred.
• Three or more years of accounting experience.
• Experience with regulatory reporting (SEC and FERC) preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare external regulatory filings with the SEC, FERC and State Public Service Commissions.
• Prepare, review, analyze and interpret complex accounting, financial and statistical data.
• Produce and review internal financial/operational reports.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, procedures and controls.
• May review work prepared by contract employees.
• May prepare or assist with executive-level presentations.
• Perform other special financial projects as necessary.
