Capital One is seeking a Manager, Counsel in its Financial Services Legal Team in Plano, TX. You will provide strategic legal advice on consumer-finance laws, regulations, data, and risk to support the business, customers, dealers, and partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration, clear guidance, and the ability to influence outcomes in a dynamic environment, with a hybrid work arrangement and a salary range of $149,800–$171,000 plus incentive potential.

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of attorney experience in a law firm, at a government agency, as a military judge advocate or as in-house counsel.

Responsabilidades

• Providing strategic legal advice on a variety of complex issues and topics spanning the range of business initiatives, including questions that directly impact the customer experience
• Translating laws, regulations, and legal requirements into clear and focused guardrails
• Building relationships and collaborating with business stakeholders in wide-ranging roles
• Understanding business needs and providing appropriate solutions to reach the desired goals
• Working collaboratively with other members of the Legal Department and business to provide advice in a consistent, well-reasoned manner
