Qualifications

• Three years of professional accounting experience. Post-secondary education can substitute on a year-for-year basis for two years of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit and process contract/written agreement payments for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve contract/invoice issues and provide guidance on invoicing procedures to project managers.
• Perform audits of cost center purchase card programs and prepare work papers and reports.
• Audit and process Right of Way deposits and land payments per statutes and regulations.
• Reconcile contracts for close-out and update payment ledgers; ensure accurate encumbrance balances in systems.
• Maintain records of contract documents and prepare adjusting entries as needed.
