Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC in Denver seeks a Manager, Financial Reporting to own external financial reporting, including consolidated statements under US GAAP and SEC requirements. You will implement SOX controls and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely, accurate reporting for lenders and partners.

The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA with public accounting or large filer experience, strong technical writing skills, and proven ability to translate complex accounting into clear memoranda and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Six or more years of accounting and audit experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Experience designing or auditing internal controls over financial reporting under the SOX framework.
• Advanced proficiency in financial consolidations and strong written communication for memoranda.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidated SEC reporting and quarterly/annual statements.
• Prepare monthly statements for lenders and partners with Treasury, Finance and Legal teams.
• Draft statutory financial statements for international subsidiaries under IFRS or local bases.
• Conduct technical accounting research on complex transactions (debt/equity, leases, revenue).
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda documenting conclusions and compliance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate external audits and manage audit requests and walkthroughs.
• Develop and maintain SOX internal controls and improve the control environment.
