Job summary

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to provide senior accounting leadership, financial stewardship, and compliance oversight for ASHA and its affiliated entities. You will advance accurate financial information, support decision-making, and ensure compliance with governing standards under US GAAP for not-for-profit entities.

This exempt role leads cash flow, fixed assets, grants, and audits, while guiding Finance staff and coordinating

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, analysis and interpretation of financial reporting for ASHA and affiliates.
• Provide strategic training and technical support to Finance staff on accounting issues and regulatory changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automation, and internal controls.
