Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting, to assist in preparing 10-Q and 10-K filings and stay current with U.S. GAAP standards. The role involves coordinating with external auditors to support audits and ensuring disclosure control compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of accounting/finance experience, including 3 years at a Big 4 firm, and holds a Bachelor's in accounting with CPA status in progress or active. The position is based in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA license either active or in process.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Big 4 firm.
• Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K filings using applicable guidance.
• Identify new disclosures from evolving standards and filings.
• Analyze disclosure documents to improve efficiency.
• Document fluctuations in account balances and financial statements.
• Ensure disclosure controls and narratives comply with SOX.
• Coordinate with external auditors to support quarterly/annual requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
