Job summary

Northmarq in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. You will lead the monthly financial statements, internal management reporting, and external reporting, using advanced Excel, GAAP knowledge, and process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, 3+ years of experience, and experience with Dynamics GP, NetSuite, or Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with multi-entity environments and intercompany accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of monthly financial statements and internal/external reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex Excel-based reporting and tools.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and reporting processes.
• Assist with annual audits and preparation of audited financial statements.
• Post month-end journal entries and reconcile schedules.
• Collaborate with other departments on financial reporting matters.
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and strategic initiatives.
• Provide back-up support to Finance & Accounting team.
