LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing healthcare organization in Houston to identify an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. This role sits on the Accounting and Financial Reporting team and collaborates with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate will handle SEC reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting in a fast-changing environment. Based at the corporate HQ in Houston, this position is not remote.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of relevant accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.
  • Public accounting candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • CPA designation preferred but not required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Great Plains experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy Statements.
  • Maintain supporting schedules for financial statement disclosures and GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly close activities, including company-wide consolidations.
  • Maintain schedules related to non-controlling interests, redeemable non-controlling interests, and partnership equity distributions.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual schedules supporting internal and external audits.
  • Review financial results, analyze variances, and provide insight into business performance.
  • Research accounting matters and assist with drafting technical accounting memorandums.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments and monitor quarterly and annual audit deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain SOX documentation.
  • Analyze key performance metrics used in monthly financial reporting.
  • Support ad hoc analysis, process improvements, and special projects.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing, publicly traded healthcare organization in Houston to identify an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. This position will be a key member of the Accounting and Financial Reporting team, supporting internal and external reporting while working closely with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys solving complex problems, navigating a fast-changing environment, and developing deeper expertise in SEC reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting. The position is based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Houston and is not available on a remote basis.
