Job summary

Emergent Professional Resources L.P. (EPR) seeks a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join a high-performing accounting team responsible for delivering timely and accurate management reporting and financial statements.

The ideal candidate will support monthly close, assist with financial statement prep, perform accounting analyses, and contribute to process improvements across the organization, with upstream oil & gas exposure valued.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in financial reporting.
• CPA certification or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of governing accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems and Quorum is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close activities and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis.
• Support internal and external reporting, including footnotes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather supporting documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements and control documentation.
