Job summary

Infinite Global, a leading financial communications firm, seeks a Director to supervise accounts and teams, drive media relations and thought leadership for asset and wealth management clients. You will mentor juniors, expand client relationships, and lead strategy with senior executives.

The role favors candidates from top financial PR firms or in-house at asset/wealth managers who can shape strategy, win new business, and deliver high-impact campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Seven years of public relations or corporate communications experience.
• Four+ years in account and people management.
• Experience representing asset managers or wealth management clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic communications and media relations programs for financial services clients.
• Develop proactive media strategies for high-impact coverage in top outlets.
• Build thought leadership campaigns for senior executives.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and lead client meetings with junior staff.
• Provide counsel on communications strategy, messaging, and reputation management.
• Cultivate relationships with leading financial journalists and editors.
• Identify timely opportunities tied to market developments and industry trends.
• Demonstrate strong project management and deliverables within deadlines.
• Contribute to new business through strategy articulation and pitches.
• Grow business with existing clients by expanding services and capabilities.
• Manage account team performance and ensure quality work and metrics.
• Mentor junior professionals and support onboarding and reviews.
• Lead by example with integrity, agility, compassion and courage.
