Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking a Manager, Senior Financial Planner in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, TX. You will join our Financial Planning Group to craft customized plans alongside advisor teams and advance toward an advisor path or support role.

You will analyze client data with tools like eMoney, Morningstar, and Holistiplan, ensuring accurate, timely work and a high-quality client experience. Travel up to 20% and mentor colleagues as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business/finance related field; CFP exam or advanced certification preferred.
• 6+ years of client-facing financial planning experience is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Salesforce; knowledgeable with planning software tools.

Responsibilities

• Support advisors through all planning stages: preparation, updating, delivery, and implementation.
• Prepare comprehensive financial plans in eMoney and perform portfolio/tax planning analyses.
• Collaborate with advisor teams to deliver a seamless client experience focused on accuracy and timeliness.
• Present financial planning concepts and analysis with advisors; mentor other team members.
• Assist in improving processes to enhance client experiences; travel up to 20% as needed.
