Job description

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will partner closely with the Sr. Director, FP&A, Segment CFO, and Segment Leadership.

This role is pivotal in Segment-level financial reporting and performance management, requiring effective planning cycle leadership, guidance, and coordination. The analyst will implement processes across Commercial Operations and Supply Chain, harmonize reporting content and key metric definitions, and collaborate across the business to present analyses, insights, and recommendations with influence.

We seek a candidate who can build strong relationships, leverage data & analytics for business insights, and drive improvements in planning, reporting, and finance operations. The role demands a detail-oriented, results-driven, 'hands-on' approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Partner with business leadership to implement robust Commercial Operations reporting, analytics by channel, customer insights, and financial reporting practices to drive accountability and execution.
2. Enhance visibility of Supply Chain and Materials Management processes and financial reporting, identify data irregularities, and propose reporting enhancements.
3. Lead review of Daily KPIs and P&L expense management analyses, support policy development for price/cost reporting, orders, backlog, and other metrics. Develop action plans for improvements.
4. Conduct market and competitor analysis for long-range planning, operating reviews, annual plans, quarterly earnings, and Board content.
5. Consolidate forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, and profitability.
6. Design and build data-driven analytical models.
7. Provide strategic FP&A guidance and support across finance and operations.
8. Perform financial analyses, reforecasting, variance analysis, and create graphical summaries.
9. Support M&A financial requirements with ROI models.
10. Offer analyses and recommendations for strategic projects and ad-hoc decision-making reports.
11. Proactively conduct detailed financial analysis, report root causes, and remediation plans.
12. Drive process and tool improvements in finance functions.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant finance experience, including leadership, public accounting, or manufacturing.
• Experience supporting Commercial Operations and Supply Chain finance is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to influence, and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, OneStream) and MS Office Suite.

Expected Salary Range: $120,000-150,000/year. Salary depends on location, experience, education, and internal comparisons.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
