Qualifications

• 3-5 years accounting or related financial experience (Required)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and computerized purchasing and accounts payable systems in a large university setting (Required)
• Experience advising MSO on financial, contract, grant, and admin issues (Required)
• Ability to prepare budgets for extramural funds per guidelines (Required)
• Ability to manage multiple budgets and produce detailed financial reports (Required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication for non-financial staff (Required)
• Demonstrated ability to supervise administrative support staff (Required)
• Proficiency with Excel and FileMaker Pro; knowledge of Word and PowerPoint (Required)

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced financial analysis and compliance monitoring for Center X funding sources
• Lead preparation and submission of extramural proposals and budgets
• Prepare monthly financial management reports and reconcile expenditures to budgets
• Coordinate with OCGA, EdIS fund manager, and granting agencies on contract/grant issues
• Review S&S proposals, prepare contracts, and manage invoicing and transfers
• Assist with long-range financial planning and scenario analysis
