MSIG USA is seeking a Financial Lines Claims Counsel to lead the handling of high-exposure Financial Lines claims, including D&O, E&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Fidelity matters. The role offers autonomy, visibility, and opportunities to influence outcomes and growth within the Financial Lines portfolio.

The attorney will analyze coverage, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of experience handling Financial Lines claims or complex litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of complex Financial Lines claims through resolution.
• Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposure; establish reserves and assess claims.
• Draft coverage position letters, ROIs, and other claim communications.
