Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years in Underwriting or Market Facing area
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 3+ years in Underwriting or Market Facing area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 8+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience working on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
• Experience working in a team environment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7+ years in Underwriting or Market Facing area
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 14+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5+ years in Underwriting or Market Facing area
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 12+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area
• Experience handling P&C Financial Institutions Underwriting
• Broker relationships in the Chicago, St Louis or Overland Park Market
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, partners and customers across industries to support business objectives.
• Leverage P&C underwriting acumen across risk assessment, exposure evaluation and pricing to generate and maintain a profitable book of new and renewal business.
• Collaborate across claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and technical underwriting to gain knowledge in a growing industry.
• Grow and develop relationships with preferred distribution partners in an assigned territory.
