Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. is seeking a Transaction Experienced Advisory Services Senior Associate to manage financial, accounting and operational due diligence for strategic and financial buyers across the USA.

The role sits in a fast-growing TAS practice with opportunities for advancement and collaboration with industry leaders. You will lead data collection, financial modeling, and analyses, interact with C-level personnel, and help identify resolutions and business development opportunities while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, required
• MBA, preferred
• Four (4) or more years of public accounting experience, required
• One (1) or more years of TAS experience, preferred
• Prior experience interacting with C-level personnel, preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares data book, reconciles company financial statements and generates financial tables for due diligence reports
• Analyzes financial forecasts, historical earnings and assets/liabilities of target
• Performs industry and company research
• Collects information from all sources related to the target client’s business
• Conducts interviews with C-level personnel to gather information for financial analysis
• Identifies resolutions to issues related to the M&A process
• Manages information flow between BDO and target client
• Pursues business development opportunities with senior leadership
• Develops proposal documents and may participate in client presentations
