Job summary

Kentro in Washington, DC area is seeking an experienced Financial Data Analyst - CFO to deliver advanced analytics, predictive workforce planning, and executive-ready reporting. You will design dashboards that integrate enterprise HR and CFO data to support strategic decisions.

You will apply SSMS, Tableau, Python, and AWS AI/ML to automate reporting, improve data governance, and provide insights to senior leadership, including DISES and DISL populations, while collaborating across the CFO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics or a related field.
• 5–7 years of data analyst experience.
• Proficiency with SSMS to develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, procedures, views, and databases.
• Advanced experience developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, ETL, modeling.
• Experience with AWS, including AI/ML and cloud-based data services.
• Experience developing AI-enabled solutions for SharePoint knowledge management and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of BI principles, predictive analytics, workforce planning methodologies, and data governance.
• Ability to automate recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides enterprise workforce analytics, data analysis, and technical development to support CFO Office, designing tools and dashboards.
• Implements AI/ML capabilities using AWS to enhance data accessibility and decision support.
• Develops automated dashboards and data management tools to streamline collection, analysis, visualization, and distribution.
• Ensures standardization and integrity of workforce data across the Agency and produces ad hoc reports for senior leadership.
• Develops CFO-specific dashboards reflecting workforce metrics, Equal Opportunity data, accommodations, and investigations.
• Regularly briefs leadership on analytics trends, predictive insights, and performance metrics.
