Job summary

Bottomline in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Global Finance Team. You will support revenue forecasting, budgeting, planning, and reporting with a focus on Paymode product line, partnering with Account Management and Product Leadership to drive performance.

You'll analyze financial data using SQL, design interactive dashboards in Power BI, and develop financial models to support long-range planning and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or General Business.
• 2+ years of experience using Power BI for visualization.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel with advanced functions.

The Role:

As a member of our Global Finance Team , you will play a key role in the strategic financial direction of the company. In this role you will have day-to-day interaction with senior leadership across our organization. In addition to supporting financial leadership to the organization, this fast-paced role will be involved in revenue forecasting, planning, budgeting, and reporting.

How you’ll contribute:

• Partner with Account Management, Global Delivery, and Product Leadership to drive strategic initiatives and performance.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data using SQL to extract insights and trends.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to present financial performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the Paymode product line.
• Support the annual long-range planning, operational planning and financial planning processes.
• Develop financial analysis, variance analysis & modeling.
• Establish, track and analyze KPIs to drive business performance.

• Relevant progressive experience, software and/or payments industry
• Previous experience within a Private Equity backed business
• Proven track record of working with teams to drive change designed to drive efficiency and the continued growth of the organization
• Self-motivated, driven mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement
• Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or General Business
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• 2+ years of experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Strong system and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to meet deadlines & independently manage multiple projects and requests effectively
