The Northern Trust Company in Chicago, IL is seeking a senior role to lead the Financial Crime Compliance risk assessment program. You will drive AML, sanctions, and related risk assessments, guiding internal controls and governance.

You will interact with stakeholders and regulators to ensure compliance and timely, accurate risk reporting. This position requires deep FCC knowledge, extensive experience in risk assessments, and the ability to train and mentor assessors across the organization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of risk management and the Company's strategic goals.
• In-depth knowledge of regulations and local laws acquired through formal education and work experience.
• Communication and analytical skills to consult with partners and analyze information and apply regulations.
• 10+ years of experience in AML, Sanctions or Financial Crime Compliance.
• 5+ years of experience focused on financial crime risk assessments.

Responsabilités

• Lead FCC risk assessment program including AML, sanctions, and related topics.
• Drive enhancements to FCC risk assessments, standards, methodology, and processes.
• Identify, document, and measure risk to assess FCC internal controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver risk assessment outputs aligned to FCC priorities.
• Establish guidance on FCC risk assessments and deliver training to assessors.
