Job summary

Monzo seeks a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join our Actions Squad. You’ll own global risk controls, drive improvements, and work with Product, Operations and Engineering to deliver compliant and customer-focused solutions across MB L and MB EU.

The role is a London/Cardiff/UK Remote position on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll contribute to monitoring, documentation, and resilience of our fraud and financial crime controls with Looker data analysis; remote-friendly with some London

Qualifications

• Strong financial crime and regulatory compliance expertise.
• Ability to use data to monitor risk and guide decisions.
• Experience collaborating with product, operations and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own global risk controls for exit & defunds, law enforcement and acceptable use standards across MB L and MB EU.
• Develop and improve control documentation and standards balancing risk, efficiency and customer experience.
• Monitor control effectiveness using data and trend analysis; identify threats and opportunities to strengthen controls.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, Operations and Engineering to deliver compliant, customer-focused solutions.
