Job summary

Monzo is seeking a proactive Senior Financial Control Analyst to join our growing Finance team in London or Cardiff. You’ll manage month-end close, support consolidation, and partner with product and external auditors to keep our numbers accurate.

With 2+ years post-qualification experience, you’ll drive improvements, work with SAP S/4HANA, and help expand into new markets. This role offers a generous salary (£56k-£75k) plus incentive awards and flexible, distributed working within the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in financial reporting/controlling.
• Strong understanding of technical accounting standards and financial controls.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with interest in data and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close and group consolidation with Finance team.
• Write insightful management commentary based on business understanding.
• Understand accounting systems to maximise features and minimise manual reporting.
