Job summary

CFS in Shelton, CT is seeking a Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team. You will oversee a finance organization of about 10 employees and provide leadership across accounting, FP&A, treasury, and reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

You will partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, capital management, and strategic initiatives, while leading finance transformation and IT/system initiatives in a collaborative, technology-driven

Qualifications

Strong leadership experience overseeing large finance teams and functions.
Deep GAAP knowledge, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience in FP&A, treasury, and regulatory compliance.
Track record leading finance transformation and system implementations.

Responsibilities

Oversee a finance organization of about 10 employees.
Provide leadership across accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, investments, and operations.
Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, tax, and reporting standards.
Partner with executives on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Lead treasury, investments, cash management, and financial risk.
