Job summary

PALFINGER, a leading technology and mechanical engineering company, seeks a Financial Controller in Tiffin, Ohio. You will oversee accounting operations, budgeting, compliance, cash flow management, and financial analysis while supporting strategic business decisions.

You will maintain internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with leaders to drive business success. The role offers growth opportunities within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 10+ years of GAAP and/or IFRS accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; advanced Excel and ERP experience.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, sales tax filings, and fixed assets.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Establish, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and responsible for internal and external audit requests.
• Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.
