Twoconnect seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead day-to-day finance for an Australian environmental consultancy. This hands-on role covers financial reporting, payroll, AP/AR, project billing, reconciliations, compliance, and month-end activities.

Working closely with Directors and external accountants, you will ensure payroll compliance, provide insightful reporting and analysis, and support multi-entity finance requirements across the group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience with Australian finance functions.
• Experience across payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, STP, superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing finance functions across multiple entities.
• Experience preparing management reports and working alongside external accountants.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with MYOB, Xero, or similar accounting platforms.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Oversee project billing, client invoicing, monthly statements, and debtor management.
• Process supplier payments, expense claims, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage purchase orders and monitor outstanding commitments.
