The Senior Financial Control Manager will lead financial controllership, planning, and performance management across marketing, general expenses, headquarters operations, and information systems and technology spending. This strategic finance leadership role partners closely with senior business leaders to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, improve cost transparency, and support informed decision-making. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, period-end close, and cost allocation processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role also focuses on identifying savings opportunities, establishing performance benchmarks, and driving sustainable improvements across a complex, cross-functional organization. As a trusted finance partner, you will collaborate with functional teams, shared services, and business stakeholders to strengthen financial governance and operational efficiency. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced finance leader who combines technical accounting expertise, strategic thinking, and people leadership to deliver measurable business impact.

Accountabilities
  • Financial controllership: Lead end-to-end financial management of marketing and general expenses, headquarters and white-collar costs, and information systems and technology spending, ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, forecasting, and financial insights.
  • Strategic business partnership: Advise senior functional and business leaders by translating financial results into clear risks, opportunities, trade-offs, and recommendations that support effective cost management and business performance.
  • Performance reviews: Lead monthly and quarterly spending reviews with business leadership, highlighting performance trends, emerging risks, savings opportunities, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Own annual budgeting, dynamic forecasting, monthly actual-versus-budget reporting, and period-end close activities, including accruals, variance analysis, balance sheet reviews, and management reporting.
  • Financial reporting integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial postings and reporting across marketing, general expense, headquarters, and technology-related profit and loss accounts.
  • Cost allocation management: Oversee pre- and post-allocated expenses and shared-service charges, ensuring transparent, appropriate, and compliant allocation methodologies, drivers, and outcomes.
  • Accounting policy compliance: Implement and maintain compliance with applicable accounting and cost-allocation requirements, including cost-center structures, master data, allocation drivers, financial tools, and internal policies.
  • Cost optimization and benchmarking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators, benchmarks, and productivity measures to identify savings opportunities and deliver sustainable cost improvements.
  • Financial controls and audits: Maintain a strong internal control environment and coordinate the timely resolution of internal, external, and operational audit findings.
  • Process transformation: Lead initiatives to standardize, simplify, and automate financial processes while improving governance, operational efficiency, and consistency across business service models.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Build effective partnerships across Finance, functional teams, operating companies, shared services, and group stakeholders to resolve issues and strengthen end-to-end processes.
  • People leadership: Coach and develop finance team members, establish clear priorities and accountability, strengthen technical and business capabilities, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications: CPA, CMA, MBA, or another relevant advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including financial planning and analysis, controllership, cost management, or related disciplines.
  • Accounting expertise: Strong knowledge of US GAAP and demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles to financial reporting, cost management, and allocation methodologies.
  • Financial planning and reporting: Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, internal controls, and period-end close processes.
  • Cost allocation expertise: Experience managing complex cost structures, shared-service expenses, allocation methodologies, and allocation drivers.
  • Financial systems and analytics: Strong analytical capabilities and experience using financial systems, reporting tools, and data to improve transparency, performance insights, and decision-making.
  • Process improvement: Demonstrated success leading standardization, automation, process optimization, or finance transformation initiatives within complex organizations.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to interpret financial performance, identify business risks and opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations that support organizational objectives.
  • Stakeholder management: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels.
  • Leadership and change management: Proven ability to lead teams and initiatives in evolving business environments, demonstrating adaptability, sound judgment, accountability, and strategic direction.
  • Business partnership: Ability to balance financial governance and compliance requirements with operational priorities and broader business needs.
  • Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer-provided visa sponsorship, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
