Overview

The Senior Financial Business Partner is a strategic and analytical finance professional serving as a key business partner within our organization. This role bridges finance and operations, providing financial leadership, insightful analysis, and strategic recommendations to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to develop budgets, reports, forecasts, and investment/scenario analyses that enable data-driven decision-making aligned with business goals. This position reports directly to the Director of FP&A and oversees a large-scale operations business unit.

Responsibilities
  1. Partner proactively with business leaders to understand and guide financial outcomes through deep understanding of business drivers and proactive support.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership, earning trust and influence through insights and actions.
  3. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial data, delivering actionable insights.
  4. Lead financial planning and forecasting for the business unit, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans aligned with strategy.
  5. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including variance analysis, trend reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking, with explanations for results, opportunities, and risks.
  6. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, making financial concepts accessible.
  7. Lead strategic projects, process improvements, and develop analytical tools to support business objectives.
  8. Ensure compliance with financial policies and maintain internal controls.
  9. Provide financial literacy training to support decision-making organization-wide.
  10. Manage a large-scale operations business unit involving manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and third-party partnerships.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  3. 5+ years of experience in financial business partnering, analysis, or similar roles.
  4. 3+ years supporting operations in wholesale, manufacturing, or CPG companies.
  5. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  6. Proactive, results-driven, collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement.
  7. Strategic thinker with a proven track record of impactful business outcomes.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly.
  9. Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
