Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Terminal Finance team with financial planning, budgeting and variance analysis of the terminal revenue stream. The role requires advanced Excel skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high-visibility environment reporting to the VP/SVP level.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 5+ years of FP&A experience, with proficiency in SAP BPC or Oracle Cloud, Narrative Reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 5+ years FP&A/corporate finance experience.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office components, especially Excel.
• Experience analyzing commercial contracts and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide reports and supporting analysis for monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Assist in quarterly financial reporting to the Board of Directors.
• Prepare month-end variance analysis (Actual vs Budget/Forecast).
• Assist in budget report preparation and compilation.
• Develop automation for standard reports and support Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Support management with ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a critical part of the Terminal team, reporting to the Senior Director, Terminal Finance. In this role, you will assist in the financial, budget and analysis reporting on the terminal revenue stream. This position requires high proficiency in excel and the ability to be flexible with changing priorities. This is a highly visible position assisting in reporting to Vice President, Business Development, Senior Vice President, Terminal Ops and Business Development, Board of Directors, CFO, and operations leadership.

Job Description:

• Provide reports and supporting analysis for month and quarter reporting
• Assist in quarterly financial reporting to the Board of Directors
• Prepare month-end variance analysis for Actual vs. Budget/Forecast
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of budget reports
• Develop enhanced automation for standard requested reports
• Aid in reporting implementation of Oracle Cloud
• Carry out all reasonable requests by management that the employee can perform while supplying the highest quality of customer service
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested

Additional Job Description:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 5+ years experience in FP&A/ corporate finance

Pay Range:

$89,700.00 - $134,600.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
