Cadence Design Systems in San Jose, CA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced finance team focused on accurate reporting and strategic insights. You will own quarter-end close processes, validate data from SAP and related systems, and deliver analytical support to senior management across product and customer reporting areas.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in technology.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data manipulation.

Responsabilités

• Prepare quarter-end reporting packages in support of audit committee deliverables and the earnings close process.
• Validate data flowing from source systems (SAP, NGA, Incorta, CPM/Pricebook) to ensure accuracy at the product and customer reporting level.
• Generate reports and ad hoc analyses to support senior management and business unit finance teams.
• Perform exception reporting and data quality reviews; investigate and prepare corrections and reclass entries as needed.
• Participate in UAT for system enhancements and new releases across SAP, CPM (Pricebook), Incorta, and NGA product reporting — documenting test cases, logging issues, and validating fixes.
• Prepare product-level reclass and allocation correction files to maintain reporting integrity.
• Support the integration of acquired companies, including master data setup (customer and product) and conversion of acquired order data into Cadence reporting processes.
• Partner with quote-to-cash finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve reporting discrepancies and support new business model requirements.
