Job summary

Pharmavite, a leader in vitamins and supplements, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the Supply Chain team in West Hills, CA. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration (3 days/week) with 2 days of remote work, supporting procurement and centralized supply chain finance functions.

You will develop advanced Excel financial models and Power BI dashboards, analyze cost drivers, and provide management reporting aligned with GAAP standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or related field requiring strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building sophisticated financial models and handling large datasets.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and management reporting to translate data into insights.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and ERP systems such as JD Edwards (JDE). Manufacturing, supply chain, or CPG background preferred.

  • Partner with Procurement (Sourcing) and other Supply Chain functions to provide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical support.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models, Power BI dashboards, and management reporting.

The **Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Finance.**Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:* Partner with the Procurement (Sourcing) organization and collaborate with stakeholders across other centralized Supply Chain functions to provide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical support that enables informed business decisions.* Develop, maintain, and continuously improve financial models, Power BI dashboards, and management reporting by collecting, validating, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data to deliver actionable insights into material costs, purchase price variance, supply chain cost drivers, operational performance, and other key business metrics.* Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting in support of the month-end close process, including variance analysis, journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.* Perform ad hoc financial analyses that support strategic initiatives, cost optimization, profitability improvement, and operational decision-making.* Drive continuous improvement by automating reporting, enhancing data quality, streamlining financial processes, and advancing analytical capabilities.The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious, detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys solving complex business problems through financial analysis and data.
