Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to perform financial and business analyses, forecast trends, and prepare reports. You will build and maintain spreadsheets and databases, and present findings to management to support strategic decisions.

The role requires 5–10 years in Accounting/Finance, proficiency in Excel and Power BI, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. Office-based position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
• 5 - 10 years of relevant, progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance
• Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access
• Experience with Power BI
• Strong relationship building skills
• Ability to think strategically and act proactively to create trust with business units

Responsibilities

• Prepare forecasts and analysis of financial reports, records and trends.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases to facilitate analysis and reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis projects and document recommendations to management.
• Lead and document financial analysis projects including ad hoc reports and data gathering.
• Coordinate activities to ensure projects progress within deadlines.
• Communicate with management on project status and deadlines.
