CRG is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Strategic Analytics to join the corporate finance organization of a large, nationally recognized company. This position will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting related to fringe defaults. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing annual budgets and ongoing forecasts, assessing financial exposure, identifying trends and opportunities, supporting contract compliance, and providing data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Build the annual budget and ongoing forecasts for fringe defaults using historical results, current trends, and anticipated business changes.
• Monitor actual performance against forecasts to identify trends, financial risks, and opportunities to improve results.
• Assess fringe defaults and quantify financial exposure while identifying opportunities to improve fringe recovery.
• Conduct independent financial analysis, develop recommendations, and confidently communicate and defend conclusions.
• Analyze underlying financial and operational data drivers to provide meaningful follow-up analysis and support to sector finance teams and key internal customers.
• Support annual CPI rate files and ensure contractual rate adjustments are accurately incorporated into financial planning and reporting.
• Serve as a key financial resource for fringe-related questions from clients and field teams, providing timely analysis, supporting documentation, and recommendations.
• Own the financial aspects of contract compliance and contractual liability, including reviewing contract terms, fringe provisions, and rate escalations.
• Develop procedures and controls that help ensure forecasts, reporting, and business decisions remain aligned with client contractual requirements.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives designed to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of fringe forecasting and reporting.
• Partner with Benefits & Compensation, Risk Management, Legal, Labor Relations, Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning, Payroll, and sector financial leadership.
• Build strong relationships and visibility across the organization while serving as a trusted financial resource.
• Support special projects and strategic analytical initiatives for the Strategic Analytics team and senior leadership.
• Handle confidential HR and benefits information with discretion and professionalism.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with corporate and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively without direct authority.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently assess situations, develop recommendations, and support conclusions.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CPA candidate.
• Experience with BlackLine, SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, Power BI, and/or SQL.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with process automation.
• Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience working with financial forecasting, reporting, contractual compliance, or financial controls.
