Job summary

Amazon’s North American External Fulfilment (NA EF) Finance team seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support operational and functional leaders across the EF Network. You will develop models, analyze data, and drive insights to improve performance, partnering with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.

You will apply SQL, Advanced Excel, and BI tools (Quicksight/Power BI) to create scalable reports and provide decision-ready analyses for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field
• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Responsibilities

• Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build models and analyses in collaboration with Finance and Operations partners.
• Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes across teams and organizations.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to business leaders to support operational and growth business decisions and action plans.
• Deliver operations planning and cost planning for the network.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to drive process, productivity improvements, and cost savings initiatives.
• Ensure excellent financial controllership and manage the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly results reporting.
• Facilitate financial review meetings with key partner business groups.
• Identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution, insisting on the highest standards.
• Develop and execute data analysis processes that are scalable and auditable.
• Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues
