CVS Health is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the finance team for Aetna Better Health of Virginia. You will prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial packages, partner with internal and external teams, and identify trends, outliers, and cost-saving

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SQL or FP&A, with financial planning experience.
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced).
• Experience using generative AI to improve productivity and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders as a business partner.
• Provide data and analysis to support healthcare unit objectives.
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and packages.
• Develop, modify, and run SQL scripts to extract insights from data.
• Validate data from multiple sources using SQL Server Management Studio.
• Communicate processes and requirements to business and technical teams.
• Create ad hoc reports in SQL and Excel; develop new reports as needed.
• Identify cost and time savings opportunities to streamline processes.
• Ensure accuracy of premium-related reconciliations and reports.
• Represent finance in plan/provider meetings as needed.
• Analyze business drivers and market trends; support project teams as SME.
