Job summary

The Senior Financial Analyst role at Eaton’s Vehicle Group in Carol Stream, IL, supports plant management with financial examination and reporting in line with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Eaton policies. The position will analyze systems, review plant costing, and provide recommendations to improve manufacturing and administrative efficiency.

The incumbent will participate in month-end closings, forecasting, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration, with experience in Plex and Oracle ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial planning, analysis and/or performance reporting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support in month end financial closings, preparing journal entries, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual profit plan, strategic plan, operating reviews and reporting of financial data and analysis.
• Research, compile and analyze financial data; present summarized results and recommendations to management.
• Review and evaluate financial results for accuracy, consistency, and transparency. Maintain integrity of financial results.
• Lead capital project accounting for plant including budgeting, recognition of expense, and tracking and closing projects as needed.
• Create complex, global, multi project CARS to obtain senior management approval for capital spend.
