Job summary

Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our Carol Stream, IL site. This role includes relocation assistance and an annual salary range of $86,000 to $126,000.

Responsibilities include month-end closings, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis and capital project accounting. Strong Excel, ERP (Plex/Oracle) and SOX/US GAAP knowledge are required to ensure accurate financial results and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial planning, analysis and/or performance reporting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
• Strong understanding of SOX/US GAAP; knowledge of financial analysis and ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closings, journal entries, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Assist with monthly forecasts, annual profit plan, strategic plan and operating reviews.
• Research, compile and analyze financial data; present results and recommendations to management.
• Review and evaluate financial results for accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
• Maintain integrity of financial results and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead capital project accounting including budgeting, expense recognition, tracking and closing.
