Job summary

The Gateway Development Commission (GDC) is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Finance Department. The role involves assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for programs, and maintaining the Hudson Tunnel Project financial model with multiple funding sources.

Responsibilities include preparing financial documents for government funding agencies, using spreadsheets and ERP systems, and delivering regular financial reports to project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, finance, or accounting.
• Five years of progressively responsible financial analysis experience.
• Experience with government or public agency funding and grants.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAGE Financial ERP).

Responsibilities

• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for assigned programs.
• Prepare timely financial reports for forecasting, trend analysis, and results.
• Maintain the Hudson Tunnel Project financial model with multiple funding sources.
• Prepare financial documents to comply with government funding agency requirements.
• Input requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices; analyze data and create presentations.
• Provide regular financial reports to project staff.
• Support compliance with grant and funding requirements.
