Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s Product Development Center in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst - Product Development. This role provides financial guidance and analytical support for motorcycle product development, with responsibilities spanning month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and capital project analysis.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and Finance, and present to management on a regular

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with Power BI, SAP, and ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Month end closing duties including variance analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and results reporting.
• Provides business analysis and modeling with emphasis on the supported business.
• Prepares business cases for capital funding; analyzes IRR/NPV/Payback.
• Guides and partners with management in financial decision making and budgeting.
• Coordinates development and tracking of project budgets, forecasts and actuals.
• Participates in special projects as needed.
