Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide finance support for the Terminals business segment, managing forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for multiple P&L entities.

This role emphasizes strong communication with Terminal Managers and requires solid Excel and budgeting experience. The candidate will handle biweekly forecasts, annual budgets, and quarterly risks/opportunities, with interaction across finance and operations and potential for limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Forecasting and budgeting experience.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems, financial modeling, budgets, operations analysis and management reporting including writing Excel macros.
• Experience with Hyperion and/or Smart View is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of personnel.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Ability to work with a team and has attention to details.
• Limited travel may be required.
• Must meet TWIC criteria for USCG/DHS regulations.
• Current State drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Business partner to the Terminal Manager. Create biweekly forecasting for each P&L using Hyperion and Excel.
• Create the Budget for each P&L annually.
• Identify risks and opportunities for each P&L quarterly.
• Participate in the creation of the Long Range Outlook.
• Special Analysis as required.
