Job summary
Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver critical financial analysis, drive performance improvements, and own product cost, proposal support, and metrics for the Blue National Security business unit. You will partner with leadership to build a scalable finance function and deliver insights to senior executives.
The role requires strong Excel modeling, ERP experience, and excellent communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical field.
- 8+ years of professional finance experience.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills with advanced Excel modeling.
- Experience leading project teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis for internal executive memos and deliver clear insights to senior leadership.
- Provide accurate, timely financial information to support business execution.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Standardize programmatic and financial metrics across the business unit.
- Own root-cause analysis and recovery planning for off-track metrics.
- Drive product cost standardization and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
