Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to develop and maintain program financial plans across multiple products. You will join a team with Program Management, Finance, and Technical staff to manage budgets, EACs, and cost performance.

The role requires a strong background in costing, ERP/SCM/CRM systems, and advanced Excel. Travel and ITAR compliance may apply as part of the core duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
• 8–12 years of relevant experience
• Experience in costing and pricing of complex development programs
• Working knowledge of ERP, SCM, and CRM software/applications
• Current expertise in MS Office Suite (Advanced MS Excel)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program financial plans including budgets and EACs to meet contractual requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations
• Analyze cost performance against plans and deliver reports
• Prepare project control/financial analysis reports for customer distribution
• Develop complex cost and pricing models
• Assist with proposal cost estimates and DCAA audits as needed
• Perform variance, risk, and profit/loss analysis on complex programs
• Identify and drive process improvements including reports and tools
• Coordinate with program office, operations, and other support organizations on financial issues
