Job summary

CRG Search seeks a Senior Financial Analyst – Joint Ventures to join the corporate finance team. This role focuses on joint venture analysis, monthly close, budgeting and forecasting, contractual reconciliations, financial reporting, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate financial insights to stakeholders while driving control improvements across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-department collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sector finance teams to manage joint venture profit-split calculations, monthly invoicing, payment schedules, and activity audits.
• Lead monthly accounting close activities, including journal entries and analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze financial and contractual data to identify trends and provide reporting for key business decisions.
• Support client and contractual reconciliations, including burden-rate reconciliation for a major client account.
• Review monthly budget-to-actual results, forecasts, and annual budgets for assigned accounts.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to sector finance leadership and business partners.
• Develop and implement procedures and controls to ensure client contractual compliance.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and automation in reporting.

CRG is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Joint Ventures to join the corporate finance team of a large, nationally recognized organization. This position will play an important role in joint venture financial analysis, monthly close, budgeting and forecasting, contractual reconciliations, financial reporting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented finance professional who can work effectively across multiple teams, communicate financial insights to stakeholders, and independently identify opportunities to strengthen processes and controls.

• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in financial reporting.
• Independently assess financial situations, develop recommendations, and confidently communicate conclusions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Payroll, Benefits & Compensation, Risk Management, Legal, Labor Relations, and other business partners.
• Handle confidential financial, HR, and benefits information with discretion and professionalism.
• Support special projects and other financial initiatives assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience within public accounting and/or industry.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CPA candidate.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with BlackLine, SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, Power BI, or SQL.
• Experience with financial process automation or other process-improvement initiatives.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience with joint ventures, contractual financial arrangements, reconciliations, burden-rate analysis, or complex client accounts.
