Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial management concepts and procedures.
• Experience creating monthly and annual financial reports and forecasts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Windows.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain favorable NACI and ADP III.
• DoD 8140/8570.01-M baseline certification or willing to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Monitor program funds and report timely fiscal information to the CDMRP Finance Manager.
• Maintain a database of past and present program funds and current budget status.
• Prepare monthly funding reports detailing status, commitments, and obligations.
• Track appropriations and withholds for CDMRP management or execution.
• Ensure full obligation of extramural and intragovernmental program funding by year end.
• Provide funding information for contract documents (RSCAF).
• Initiate purchase requests in GFEBS and follow funding documents through acquisition.
• Facilitate funding using GFEBS, EGS, fund transfers, direct charges, and MIPRs.
