US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Finance Analyst to lead monthly financial reporting, planning, and ad hoc analyses for the Supply Chain Admin function. The role will identify spending trends, review expenses, and prepare variance explanations for department leaders.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in annual planning, and support P&L drivers under current plans and alternative strategies. This hybrid role requires strong MS Office skills and executive-level communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related analytical field.
• 3 years of relevant work experience required.
• Advanced skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Prioritization/Organization/Multi-tasking - able to organize work and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INTERNAL WORKDAY CAREER SITEJoin Our Community of Food People!Lead the process in providing monthly financial reporting, planning, ad hoc analysis, and analytical evaluations for Supply Chain Admin function.This position has been segmented as Hybrid meaning there is a combination of three onsite days and the rest remote.Responsibilities:Conduct financial and business-related analysis as requested for the Supply Chain Admin function in such areas as headcount, departmental budgets, initiatives, and special ad-hoc projects. Make recommendations to improve performance.Identify favorable and unfavorable data/spending trends. Work with business functions to provide analytic and detailed transactional results and recommendations for improved performanceReview departmental expenses for accuracy, completeness, and submit necessary journal entries where needed.Review departmental actual expense versus budget/forecast PY and issue monthly variance statements along with explanations of significant variances. Review results with department leads.Perform regular, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting/analysis. Assist in the production of monthly results reviews of financial and operational performance metrics versus current plan and forecast.Facilitate annual planning processes.Support initiative development and assessment.Assist management in developing assumptions regarding the P&L drivers of the business which could be expected under the current business plan and under alternative strategies.
