Job description

We provide scalable, efficient digital hub services for pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers, streamlining workflows with seamless integration for patient enrollment, consent, and prior authorization. Our best-in-class patient support services enhance every step of care, connecting patients, providers, and brands to drive better outcomes and accelerate time-to-therapy.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Director, Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a core analytical resource for CareMetx’s pricing function — building and maintaining pricing models for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), monitoring client- and program-level profitability against contracted terms, and supporting contract renewals, amendments, and re‑pricing efforts in partnership with Sales, Operations, Account Management and Finance leadership. Working under the direction of the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will price new and existing business, track post‑launch performance versus deal pro formas, quantify the financial impact of scope changes and alternative pricing structures, and contribute to the month‑end Board reporting package — particularly the views that tie client deal economics back to forecast and budget. Keys to success in this role include (i) a strong analytical skillset, including the ability to disaggregate and understand the drivers of revenue and profitability at the client and program level, (ii) intellectual curiosity with a high attention to detail, (iii) a proactive, hands‑on approach to problem solving, including building data sets and pricing tools that surface insights for management, and (iv) clear written and verbal communication of analytical findings to both finance and commercial audiences. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint is required. Comfort working with financial ERP and operational data, as well as data visualization / reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Think‑Cell, etc.) is preferred.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build and maintain pricing models for RFPs and new business opportunities, including unit‑economics, scenario, and sensitivity analysis to support bid strategy and ensure alignment with profitability targets.
  • Update and maintain revenue, cost, and financial forecasts to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning under the direction of the Director of Finance.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data for month‑end close, internal and external reporting, and variance analysis, including at the client and product level.
  • Build and maintain financial models that track performance metrics and support management decision‑making, partnering cross‑functionally to source and validate inputs.
  • Develop visual reports and dashboards summarizing financial, operational, and client‑level trends and performance for internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare components of the month‑end Board reporting package, including supporting schedules, charts, and commentary.
  • Monitor client‑ and program‑level profitability against contracted pricing and deal pro formas, identifying margin erosion, scope creep, and underperforming arrangements; recommend corrective actions to management.
  • Conduct impact assessments of proposed pricing or business changes and surface actionable insights; help test new pricing approaches with input from management.
  • Support contract renewals, amendments, and re‑pricing events by analyzing historical performance, refreshing cost assumptions, and modeling proposed terms to inform negotiation positions.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Sales teams to improve pricing scenario analysis, client‑facing outputs, and assumption presentation.
  • Contribute to the formal “deal desk” process by providing timely, accurate analysis that keeps the sales cycle moving efficiently.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements that strengthen FP&A practices, including automation and data quality enhancements.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, including being present, on time, and prepared for work as scheduled.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of FP&A, strategic pricing, or accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or a healthcare‑services environment.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, scenario modeling) and Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
  • Comfort working with financial ERP and operational data sets, as well as data visualization / reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Think‑Cell, etc.) is preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to disaggregate revenue and cost drivers at the client and program level.
  • Ability to build, audit, and explain pricing models — including unit economics, scenario analysis, and sensitivity tables — in a way that supports commercial decision‑making.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational capabilities and a track record of accurate, on‑time deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned analyses while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to both finance and non‑finance audiences, in writing and in person.
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
